Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy describes the initial public release of JadePDF at jadepdf.com. It applies to the static website and the PDF tools explicitly marked as verified and browser-based.

2. Document processing

Verified launch tools process selected document bytes on the user's device with bundled browser code. The production application does not expose a document-upload API, conversion server, account service, or remote document-storage feature.

Partial and unavailable tools are not represented as verified. Their pages are excluded from the production sitemap and use conservative indexing controls.

3. Hosting and request metadata

Cloudflare serves JadePDF's HTML, JavaScript, styles, images, and other static assets. Like other web infrastructure providers, Cloudflare may process ordinary connection information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, security signals, and response status to deliver and protect the site. That web-request metadata is separate from PDF content.

4. Browser storage

JadePDF may use browser-managed storage for interface preferences or temporary in-browser state. That storage remains under the browser's controls and can be cleared through the browser settings. The launch release does not intentionally place document contents in a JadePDF-operated remote database.

5. Analytics and advertising

Analytics, advertising, and paid accounts are disabled in the initial production build. JadePDF does not load an AdSense placeholder or advertising script unless a later release is built with an explicit feature flag, valid publisher settings, and the required consent configuration.

6. Third-party resources

The launch interface bundles its PDF runtime and uses system font stacks. It does not require a third-party PDF CDN or remote font service to process documents. Links to another website are governed by that website's own policies.

7. Security and limitations

Local processing reduces document exposure, but no software can guarantee that every input is safe or every generated PDF is suitable for a particular legal, archival, accessibility, or professional purpose. Keep original files and verify important output before relying on it.

8. Changes to this policy

The policy will be updated before JadePDF introduces remote document processing, accounts, analytics, advertising, or other material data practices. The current version will remain available at jadepdf.com/privacy.
