# JadePDF

> Verified browser-based PDF tools for finishing documents without uploading them.

JadePDF is a static web application hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Its verified launch tools read and transform selected documents on the user's device with bundled JavaScript. The launch release has no document-upload API, remote document storage, account system, analytics, advertising, or paid plan.

Partial experiments and unavailable concepts are intentionally excluded from this list and from the production sitemap. Their routes use conservative indexing controls and must not be cited as completed capabilities.

## Technical boundaries

- Framework: Astro 7 and React 19.
- PDF parsing and rendering: bundled PDF.js 6.2.108 module worker.
- PDF manipulation: bundled pdf-lib 1.17.1 and related browser libraries.
- Hosting: Cloudflare Pages static assets.
- Document processing: browser memory for verified launch tools.
- PDF.js scripting, XFA, dynamic evaluation, and fake-worker fallback are disabled.
- Automated Chromium tests reject unexpected document uploads, external PDF.js CDNs, worker failures, page errors, and console errors.
- The service worker only clears obsolete JadePDF caches; it does not precache production bundles.

## Indexing policy

English is the only reviewed, indexable launch locale. Legacy marketing pages, partial tools, unavailable tools, and unreviewed localized pages are kept out of the canonical sitemap. Canonical URLs point to `jadepdf.com`.

## Privacy summary

Cloudflare receives ordinary requests for site assets and the associated connection/security metadata. Verified tool workflows do not intentionally send selected PDF or image bytes to a JadePDF processing endpoint. Users should retain original files and verify important output before relying on it.
