About JadePDF
Useful PDF tools with honest boundaries
JadePDF helps people finish everyday documents without handing the file to an unknown processing server.
What the launch release contains
The production directory contains 18 verified tools. They cover common page, organization, numbering, watermark, metadata, image, crop, resize, and print-layout tasks.
JadePDF also maintains 39 partial experiments and 32 unavailable concepts in its capability registry. They are not treated as finished products, and they stay out of the launch directory and sitemap.
How document processing works
The verified tools run in the browser with bundled JavaScript libraries. The launch release has no document-upload API, no conversion server, no account system, and no remote document storage. Cloudflare serves the static application; the user's device performs the document operation.
Why the catalog became smaller
Earlier versions described more tools than the implementation could support consistently. The recovery process replaced those promises with a tested capability matrix. A smaller honest product is more useful than a larger unreliable list.
Release principles
- Show working tools first. Experimental routes do not compete with verified workflows.
- Keep document bytes local. No hidden upload is used by the verified launch set.
- Test the real browser flow. Synthetic PDFs exercise the bundled PDF runtime in Chromium.
- Fail visibly. Unsupported or damaged documents should produce a controlled error, not a false success.
- Publish cautiously. Advertising and paid plans remain disabled during the initial release.
